• RDS (only available to staff) can only be used with the 2^nd factor as of August 18^th, 2022.
• SSO for staff can only be used with the 2^nd factor as of August 31^st, 2022; students have had the option of activating the 2^nd factor since September 1^st.
• Since November 1^st, 2022, the 2^nd factor is mandatory for VPN for all users.
  Since Cisco IPsec does not support the 2^nd factor, Cisco AnyConnect (or a compatible program) has to be used.
• Since NovemberDezember 1^st, 2022, the 2^nd factor for SSO for students is mandatory, too.
• From March 1^st, 2023 all logins (except alumni) at TU Graz (including web-based) have to be secured with a 2^nd factor, if this is not possible, the application has to be secured behind VPN (with a 2^nd factor), exceptions are limited in time!
• Starting from January 1^st 2024, alumni must also use a 2^nd factor (favouring ID Austria).

In return for the introduction of 2FA, some simplifications will be implemented in TUGRAZonline:

• For staff members, the PIN for exam administration and payslips (AZN) are no longer required.
• The requirement to change the password after no more than 450 days was eliminated.
