Problem with the login for Alumni

ID Austria

If possible, you should use ID Austria to log in, you do not need to know your username or password and you do not need the special 2FA app of TU Graz.
However, the prerequisite is that you already have an account at TU Graz to which the ID Austria can be assigned.

If you do not yet have an account or if you have problems using ID Austria, please contact alumni.

2FA solution of TU Graz

If you do not have ID Austria, you must log in (as described in "Usage") in 2 steps:
  1. Enter your username and password.
  2. Enter the one-time password (OTP) value generated by the 2FA app.
We strongly advise you to activate a 2nd token on a 2nd device (notebook, tablet, …) immediately so that you are not locked out in the event of problems with the first token (mobile phone broken, lost, …)!

Access data not known

If you do not (or no longer) know your access data (username/password), please follow the instructions in TUGRAZonline.

Registration code for first activation not known

If you have not yet activated the app to generate the 2nd factor, you will need an (initial) registration code, which you will find in in TUGRAZonline for 7 days if you did not yet have an account at TU Graz.
However, if you already had an account at TU Graz, you will receive the registration code via alumni.
You can then use this data for your initial activation.

Error when entering the OTP value

If you receive an error message when entering the 2nd factor (OTP value), please read our FAQs for possible causes of the error (e. g. incorrect time zone).
If you believe that everything is correct but it still does not work, please contact the IT support of TU Graz via the web form.
